The Native American Studies Center presents an online series of talks and demonstrations highlighting traditional arts of the Catawba Nation. Guests include:
• Ensley Guffey, Catawba Tribal Archivist, July 12 at 2 p.m.
• Keith “Little Bear” Brown, Catawba Potter & Storyteller, July 14 at 2 p.m.
• Faye Greiner, Reed Basket Maker, July 16 at 2 p.m.
• Monty “Hawk” Branham, Flute and Drum Maker, July 17 at 3 p.m.
• Beckee Garris, Long Leaf Pine Needle Basket Maker, July 19 at 5 p.m.
Traditional art demonstrations will be presented via Zoom and Facebook Live.
